Structure of Information & Information Formats.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WARAHMATULAH WABARAKATUH

Let me greet you again and hope you are in good health.

In today’s post, there would be stressed upon type of sources. The sources, I have learned, is divided into three types known as primary, secondary and tertiary sources.

In primary sources, it is basically an original object or document or first-hand information which is produced in the time period. At the same time, it enables the researcher to get as close as possible to what actually happened in certain period. We can recognize it as contemporary accounts, original documents, unpublished and published works. It may include diaries, letters, memoirs, journals, speeches and many more.

For secondary source, it is something written about a primary source that is written after the fact. We can recognize it by interpreting it as interpret primary sources, examination of second studies or second hand. This source is usually in the form of published works, like journal articles, books, radio, TV documentaries and so on.

In the last paragraph, it is tertiary source. This is known as collection of primary and secondary sources. It includes most types of references such as bibliographies of bibliography, directories of directories and guides to the literature.

With this given information, I hope all readers can understand roughly what kind of source that we can retrieve in order to give us a proper reliability.
